About Me
My Journey To Calm
Hi, I'm Heather Colman.
I'm a proud mother of two grown children and a grandmother to three lively and wonderful grandchildren. I’m also the founder of a thriving business I’ve nurtured for over a decade. My passions include hiking, jogging, and cycling—all of which allow me to stay active while immersing myself in the beauty of nature. I cherish spending time with my family and friends and am grateful for the genuinely caring and supportive people in my life.
But life hasn’t always been this balanced or fulfilling.
For a significant part of my life, I felt disconnected, stuck in unhealthy relationships, and weighed down by chronic self-doubt and a lack of confidence. My journey toward change began after a major life event led me to counselling, which not only transformed my perspective but inspired me to train as a counsellor myself. This eventually allowed me to establish a successful private practice, helping others on their own paths to healing and growth.
Through my work, I’ve noticed a recurring theme among many women: despite outward success, they often struggle with low confidence, chronic self-doubt, and a relentless need to please others to feel accepted. Overwhelm, exhaustion, and a sense of disconnection leave them questioning their purpose and yearning for something more.
I understand these challenges deeply because I’ve lived them. For years, I felt stuck in a cycle of “keeping busy,” tolerating unfulfilling relationships, and chasing an elusive sense of contentment.
The truth is, not every challenge requires in-depth therapy. If there’s no trauma or specific life event to unpack, we can create meaningful change by learning new ways of thinking and being. This belief is what inspired me to design my online programs. They are for women who may not need therapy but still crave the tools to reconnect with themselves and transform their lives.
Through my training, personal experience, and years of practice, I’ve discovered that slowing down can actually make us more productive, that connecting with and accepting ourselves lays the foundation for healthier relationships, and that even a simple, consistent self-care routine can build resilience for life’s inevitable stresses.
Change doesn’t have to feel overwhelming—it can start with small, consistent steps supported by encouragement and guidance. Little by little, progress becomes transformational.
I’m here to help you take those steps and create the fulfilling, connected life you deserve.
